Text Based Role Playing games are run in the Bionicle RPG forum. These are similar to tabletop RPGs, but entirely played via written text and without the typical numerical gameplay systems of tabletop RPGs. In this way, text-based RPGs are essentially less like games and more like communal storytelling.
