The Aggressors were a specialised task force formed in the wake of Turaga Onewa's kidnapping by the Crew of the Infernavika. They were formerly under the leadership of Lieutenant Naona of the Po-Koro Guard, but they have disbanded.

History

Formation

During the absence of most of the higher-ranking members of the Po-Koro Guard, the pirate Raknar, captain of the Infernavika, and his crew attacked the village, intent on capturing the Turaga. The attack lead to the destruction of the Guard Headquarters, killing most, if not nearly all, of the guards present in the village at the time. Attempts to prevent the pirates from capturing failed, and they ended up escaping to Ta-Koro.

However, message got out, and Naona, along with Tillian, Skyra, Krayn and Laserbeak, returned to the village. After overcoming shock and grief over the destruction of the Headquarters, Naona asked for permission to start up a task force to rescue the Turaga. This succeeded, that is until they learnt of the pirates being responsible, and the idea was shot down once more.

Deciding to investigate on their own where the Turaga could have been taken, Naona and Krayn went down to the docks, and were joined by the bounty hunter Dehkaz. After interrogating the being responsible for keeping track of ships coming into port, the group realised that it had been the Infernavika that had attacked, and the idea of starting up the task force was approved once more, leading to Naona promptly recruiting Krayn, Dehkaz and later Skyra.

The newly formed Aggressors then began to talk to beings on the docks, hoping to learn where the Infernavika had gone. After obtaining information about how the pirates had gone south, Skyra and Krayn flew off to the most likely place the pirates would have disappeared to - Ta-Koro, while Tillian went to Ga-Koro in case they had fled there, but also to reunite with Emotia, leaving Naona and Dehkaz alone in the village.

Attributes

The Aggressors, being a task force consisting mostly of members of the Mata Nui Military, embody the traits of those forces, which include a strong sense of duty and justice. Their current goal is to save Turaga Onewa from the grasp of the Infernavika, but they may or may not expand further into a specialised task force to defend the island.
