Components & Tips

Template:Player Character is used at the top to denote this page as a PC, and is helpful because it automatically adds to page to Category:Characters and provides the infobox template. Guidelines for how to use this template are available at Template:Player Character.

The name of the subject in question is bolded when first used in the body text (ie, neither the name in the header quote nor the infobox name should be bolded). Any character, group, location, or other article should be linked when first referenced in the body of the article. However, any examples in the header quote should also be linked in addition to the next subsequent usage, as should any in the infobox. Likewise, when listing the relationships and affiliations of characters later in the article, they should be linked, even if they have already appeared earlier in the text.

Biography

This section summarises the character's history in the RPG, in addition to their backstory. Events should be described as sparsely as possible, with additional detail (if relevant) made available by either a link to an Event page, or a footnote reference[1] linking to the relevant post. Subheadings should be used to ease navigation.

Timeline

This section provides a bullet-pointed timeline of a character's history in the RPG. Timelines should be made collapsible, using the following template:

Timeline

This text is collapsible.

Relationships

This section should consist of two bullet-pointed lists, one for allies, and one for enemies - although the word choice of 'allies' or 'enemies' can be adjusted as relevant to the subject character. Each character listed should link to their own character page, even if linked earlier in the article.
