Protobots

Protobots are the default robots created by ProtoBot Industries. They can be programmed with any and all known mindsets and emotions, or can be left as blank slates to learn as they go along. Highly versatile and adaptable, the protobot may soon be one of the more common species soon enough.

Powers

All protobots share the same basic powers and abilities. Their bodies are constructed entirely of protodites, each protodite containing its consciousness, allowing it to break down into individual protodites and slip through small areas and reassemble itself at will. The protodites' bodies are a protosteel-based substance which gives them incredible durability individually, but when combined into the massive body of a protobot they take on a structural power unlike that of anything yet known. And in the instances when his body is damaged, the protodites can reassemble themselves to patch any problems until more protodites can be applied to replace the damaged or destroyed ones. The incredibly sturdy body also allows for enhanced strength and speed, allowing him to lift any common-place object and out pace any average Toa. It is also rumored that protobots have a direct wireless link to Lefty, allowing them to communicate with him and he with them at any given moment. These rumors are unconfirmed.
