Near the end of the 2012 plot year, Makuta sent legions of Rahkshi to attack all six Koros. Although the inhabitants were able to hold them off for a while, the armies were too powerful. However, it was at this time that the Toa Maru defeated the Makuta. His control of the Rahkshi vanished. The now wild creatures were more easily repulsed, and the Rahkshi scattered into the wilderness. Considerable damage was done to the Koros.
