Zataka

Zataka is the dark sister of Zuto-Nui in the Dasaka pantheon.  Little is known about her, except the sisters exist harmoniously; Zataka is seen as a necessary counterpoint to balance Zuto's attributes.

Male Dasaka are sometimes referred to as 'sons of Zataka', as a reminder of their supposedly hereditary dark attributes which are the foundation for the strict limitations imposed upon them by the matriarchal society.

The colour black is associated with Zataka.
