Ah'ackune'mthrun ( Sometimes called "Old Thrun" or "Ackune" for short) is an ancient Toa of Fire who works as a blacksmith. He is also part of the Island Liberation Squad.

Appearance and Tools
Ah'ackune'mthrun wields a staff with a blade at the end, and carries a sword for backup. His armor is red with yellow highlights. His right arm is completely mechanical and his eyes are stark white.
Abilities and Traits
A blacksmith from a far away place, Ah'ackune'mthrun is older than most Toa on the island (some believe he should be a Turaga by now). Even tempered he has become wise with age and will thoroughly address a situation before acting. A master of the staff, he is none the less savvy with his sword. A bit eccentric he is fairly pleasant enough, although can be a bit snappy at times (Would you hurry it up, young whipper-snapper!) He is totally blind and relies on his Arthron to "see" his surroundings (He views it as a luxury though).

- His mechanical arm is stronger then normal, although it does move slower then his real one.it is also modular, being able to be taken apart or repaced with other tools, such as his sword.
- His name is based on the names of the Chiss, an alien species from the Star Wars expanded universe.
