Gayle is a roaming Agori huntress, formerly of the Jungle Tribe.

Biography

Gayle was once a simple scout and explorer, mapping out uncharted terrain on behalf of her village Tesara. This all changed when she was captured by Bone Hunters. She spent two years in captivity, every miserable day spent hoping and praying that her Jungle Tribe kin would save her from slavery, until an opportunity arose for her to escape on her own volition. Though she was free, she found herself racked with resentment towards her tribe for abandoning her, and could never bring herself to return home.

Now she uses the trapping and tracking skills learned from observing her captors to live as a hunter of a different kind. She takes contracts all across Bara Magna to track down criminals, animals, or treasure. She has few scruples in who she works for, refusing only to have dealings with Bone Hunters, or track down escaped slaves.

Appearance

Brawny and muscular, Gayle's skin is criss-crossed with scars from her time as a slave and her adventures in the eight years since her escape. Her armour is teal and metallic green, every bit as battered and battle-scarred as the rest of her.

Equipment

Gayle's weapon of choice is a simple axe, equally effective for chopping up enemies and obstacles.

Her vehicle is a standard Cendox model, coloured green and black, its only noteworthy feature being a launcher and motorised winch mounted on the front rather than the traditional Thornax weapon. This launcher can be loaded with a harpoon or net, depending on what prey Gayle is pursuing, with the winch allowing her to reel in the projectile.

Personality

Gayle approaches life with a boisterous, happy-go-lucky demeanour. Over her storied life, she's seen and experienced much of what Bara Magna has to offer, and is always eager to see something new, regardless of the danger, openly stating that she’d rather perish in the jaws of some beast than die a dull death in old age. This lack of regard for her own mortality means Gayle is prone to thoughtless decisions, not stopping to consider that a situation might be beyond her capabilities until she’s already in over her head.

She also suffers from an anxious, almost phobic reaction to her former tribe, refusing to go anywhere near Tesara, and being nervous and uncomfortable in the presence of other Jungle Tribe members.
