Raanu is the long-standing leader of the Fire Tribe. Despite his age, or perhaps even because of it, he commands a great deal of respect, acting as something of a leader among leaders; even though Vulcanus is no longer the economic hub it once was, Raanu represents a time when it was by far the most influential of the tribes.
