Sky's Heights Way in Ko-Wahi.

Sky's Heights Way is a pathway that connects the east and west sides of Mata Nui by way of crossing through Ko-Wahi's mountains.

Location

Sky's Heights Way is one of the smaller roadways on Mata Nui, crossing through the mountains of Ko-Wahi and connecting Ko-Koro to the Old Fusa Path.

From Ko-Koro, the path leads east-southeast for a short distance, where it passes the Nuju-Marion Research Hospital and bends to follow a south-southeast direction around a mountain.

At the southernmost face of the mountain, the path turns to follow a east-northeasterly direction, passing through the North March before arriving at Obsidian Outpost.

The path leads north from the Outpost, ascending the slopes of Mount Ihu, all the way up to Ihu-Koro.

Sky's Heights Way branches off from the Old Fusa Path.

Past Ihu-Koro, the path descends down the mountain through a series of stone steps. Near the base of the mountain, the path branches, with the northern path descending to Terminus Port, located at the terminus of the Hura-Mafa River. The southern path crosses another, smaller mountain before descending down a cliff face via stone steps, intersecting with the Old Fusa Path in the grasslands below.

Description

Sky's Heights Way is partially paved with flat stepping stones, as well as marked by small flags. Snow and ice tend to build up and hide the path, so many of the stepping stones have inlaid heatstones embedded flush with their surfaces, serving to keep the elements at bay. Ascending and descending parts of the path are traversable by way of carved stone steps allowing for stable transit. Wooden ladders offer an alternate mode of transport down the steps, often hanging off the sides of cliff faces and mountainsides that the stairs follow.
