Using Makuta DNA (antidermis) taken from Makuta Onaedo, Rhadel devised a way of infusing the power of a Makuta into a non-Makuta vessel. This would basically grant any being exposed to it a mutated, shadowy physique, and one or more of Makuta's powers.
