RPG BZPRPG III
Family Desuka (deceased)
Element Sonics
Species Toa
Gender Male
Appearance "His armour bares the wear of time. Unwashed, poorly kept - the equivalent of a permanent morning shadow. The silver that gleamed as chrome after his restoration has become muted and dull like old cutlery, and that old blood red clotted into a brownish tint. There is, again, rust, but not the infected, pitted rust of the Makuta. Instead, it is the rust of a disgraced and buried knight, the rust of a disturbed tomb. Ever his slender form has been suited for stealth, but now he is a ghost, a faint imprint on the world that he betrayed, and forgot him. His Huna only covers the mouth area of his face, like a gas mask - it keeps him from dying."

Kuhrin is a Toa of Sonics. Formerly a follower of Makuta, sadist and serial murderer, he has long since reformed. However, his dark instincts still pervade, and all who know him, hate him, leaving him isolated and plagued with the guilt for all the lives he has taken and destroyed.

Biography

Pre-RPG

Kuhrin and his best friend Krell lived as lava farmers in Ta-Koro before the coming of the First Toa. They were well-known for their reckless behaviour. Kuhrin was a conscript in the Ta-Koro Guard, and would regularly exchange letters with his girlfriend, Noka.

After the Battle of Kini-Nui, Kuhrin disappeared, traumatised by what he had experienced, and later resurfaced as a Toa of Sonics, and servant of Makuta. He tried to sway Krell to the side of darkness, however was unsuccessful, instead indoctrinating his friend by force, by way of an infected mask.

Arc 1

Kuhrin continued serving Makuta, battling and killing Toa across the island. He also used his brother, Desuka, as a Parakuka host, deploying him during the raid by Makuta's followers on [[Pala-Koro].

At some point offscreen, Kuhrin destroyed Krell's infected mask, leaving him temporarily an amnesiac. Kuhrin, via courier, sent him the mask's pieces in a box as a taunt.

Eventually, his memory restored, Krell, Zuriana and Ferron tracked Kuhrin down to the middle of the desert. A fight ensued, and Krell was killed.

Arc 2

Mortally wounded after his fight with Krell, Kuhrin resurfaced on the beaches of Onu-Wahi, where he summoned Ferron and Zuriana, after tricking them into finding a Mask of Healing for him. While Ferron wore the mask, Kuhrin wore the Fe-Toa's Pakari. After being healed, he killed Zuriana and fled to Ko-Wahi.

In the mountains, he located his brother, Desuka, who he tortured and brainwashed for weeks on end. Eventually, a party consisting of Ferron, Khervos, Tuli and Noka came looking for him. Much fighting took place, resulting in Desuka's death. Ferron chose to spare Kuhrin, and the dark Toa finally cracked and the reality of his crimes dawned on him.

Maskless, Kuhrin went with Noka to begin a new life in Le-Wahi.

Arc 3

However, Noka could not forgive Kuhrin for his evildoings, and left him for her own wellbeing.

Racked by guilt, Kuhrin now roams the island as a hermit, wearing a Huna, which he keeps activated constantly.
