Onepu is the Captain of the Onu-Koro Ussalry, though he prefers to be referred to as "Commander".

Biography
Arc 1
Onepu served as Captain of the Ussalry for the duration of the RPG. The loss of Onua, Taipu and Whenua all deeply impacted him, the last of them shaking but not completely destroying his faith in Mata Nui. During the Rahkshi threat at the year's climax, he took control of the village in the void of leadership and organised a defense, though it went unneeded as the Rahkshi turned on each other and ignored the village.
Arc 2
Onepu returned to solely leading the Ussalry almost as soon as the threat was over, ceding the position of Akiri to Nuparu, the only other candidate for the position. He's been operating as per his duties since then.
Personality and Traits
Dedicated and dutiful. Tries his best to lead by example and to be a father to his men, a figure to be respected and looked up to, but not to the point of being inaccessible. Uncharacteristically flashy for an Onu-Matoran, outside of battle, and quite proud and concerned for his public image. Enjoys his commanding position, but hates leading from behind, preferring to lead charges rather than direct them from behind a desk. Despite this, he'll still boast about the fact that he technically held the position of Akiri for a brief time.
His dedication to the Great Spirit still exists, but is very diminished. In his mind, Onu-Koro comes first, then the island, then the Great Spirit. He rarely offers prayers to Mata Nui.
Appearance
Taller than the average Onu-Matoran. In peak athletic condition, built both strong and fast. Wears a powerless Kanohi Pakari. Armor is scratched from his years of service.
Abilities and Tools
Wields a dolabra, throwing Disk, crystal dagger, combat knife, occasionally spears.
Has the strength and night-vision that is typical of Onu-Matoran, as well as the combat skill and strategic mind that his position entail. However, his political skills are lacking.
Rides an Ussal named Ruwe, who usually has blades of his own.
